The Executive Deluxe Stanley Kubrick is a double room , with a balcony and views of the Douro .

Located on the second floor of our boutique hotel, the artist's room reflects the two great passions of his life: photography and cinema, with the painting present in this space being the exponential of this symbolism. 

The background of the painting is a collage of photos, which contains, at the top, a portrait of Kubrick, with a camera.

The color of the walls, in light gray, represents monochrome films , while the design of the carpet is a tribute to the reels of his films .

Meet the artist Stanley Kubrick...

Stanley Kubrick was a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, editor, and photographer.

He is often cited as one of the greatest and most influential directors in film history. His films, which are mostly adaptations of novels or short stories, span a wide range of genres, and are known for their realism, dark humor, unique cinematography, extensive projects, and evocative use of music.

In 2002, he was considered the sixth greatest director of all time by the British Film Institute.
